An uninvited guest living and working on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the Musqueam, the Squamish and the Tseil-Waututh Nations.
I’m a award-winning storyteller and EDI leader with 10+ years of communications experience
As a settler, immigrant and queer woman of colour, I think deeply and frequently about the space I take up and the ways in which I benefit from the existing systems of power and oppression.
I am deeply committed to anti-racism, social justice, and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) work. I have been a member of the President’s Task Force on Anti-Racism and Inclusive Excellence at UBC, an advisor and co-moderator at the National Forum on Anti-Asian Racism, and am currently an active member of Asian Canadian Community and Engagement Initiative at the university.
I am currently the Director of Communications for the UBC Faculty of Arts, and provide consulting services on a per project basis.
My areas of expertise include:
- Issues management
- Anti-racism and EDI consulting
- Strategic planning
- Digital communications
- Distributed comms model
