After more than a decade living in Latin America, Europe and Asia, I came to Canada complete a Masters of Journalism at the University of British Columbia.
My work has been published by the Washington Post, The Tyee, Megaphone Magazine, Huffington Post Canada and AlterNet.
In 2015, I worked on a year-long investigation on mental health in low-resource regions, through a fellowship with the International Reporting Program at UBC. The project received an Edward R. Murrow Award and a Digital Publishing Award.
Today, I continue to work on reporting projects as a research fellow with the Global Reporting Centre.
